Beginning a New Life

Wow, things have changed since I posted my bucket list! And here I am, crossing something off already. I'm living on a tropical island! It all happened so fast. On a Saturday evening, I applied for a job as resident caretaker at an inn in Puerto Rico. Sunday morning I had an email saying I was hired. Monday I left New Mexico to drive four days home to Ohio, arriving on Thursday. I unloaded the van, signed it over to a friend to sell, and packed my bags. On Saturday I flew out of 20-degree Cleveland and landed in 80-degree Puerto Rico. Sunday I went to work. What a difference a week can make.
